Will Coconut Oil Clear Your Acne?
As some of you may (or may not) know, I also write for About.com's Acne site. Typically there's not much overlap between the info I write about there and the DIY skin care recipes, etc. that I post here.
But I just wrote an article that I thought would interest ALL my readers -- because it's about coconut oil and acne.
If you've been here for any length of time, or if you have taken any of my classes, you'll know I'm a bit obsessed with coconut oil. I love it! I use it in nearly every product I make. It's a great moisturizer, and it's a lot lighter and absorbs more readily than many other oils.
I especially love using it as a hair reviver and nail moisturizer. Just rub a bit into flyaway ends or on ragged cuticles. Your hair and nails will grow stronger with regular use. Super easy!

Except I've noticed many people claiming coconut oil has almost magical healing qualities. A great moisturizer it is -- a mystical cure-all it is not.
